RIAT (Restoring Invisible and Abandoned Trials) initiative is a call to action to publish, or update already published, findings from sponsored trials. The RIAT researchers say they will make public all confidential information they hold about invisible or abandoned trials in one year’s time if trial sponsors fail to publish it themselves.
The idea behind RIAT starts with the observation that much of medical literature is affected by reporting bias.
